Kate Burke, L.Ac.
Acupuncturist & Herbalist
Hailing from southern Oregon, Kate Burke grew up loving the outdoors. Running, hiking, water skiing, horseback riding and tennis filled her days. Later in life, after completing three marathons in a year, she discovered her own personal health challenge: degenerative disks. After seeking the normal western medical solutions and finding them lacking, Kate found Classical Five Element Acupuncture.
Kate regained her own balance through treatment. Inspired by her journey back to health, she left a successful communications and branding consulting career and returned to school to become an Acupuncturist. During her masters program at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Kate interned with master acupuncturist Peggy Arent, who studied under JR Worsley. She also completed a two-year post-graduate certificate with master acupuncturist Khosrow Khalighi.
